New Features in Cubase Studio 4.1
Sidechain Input for VST3 Plug-ins

Sidechain inputs are now available on most VST3 plug-ins included with Cubase Studio 4.1. Thanks to the new “free routing” architecture (see below) virtually any signal in the VST mixer can be used as a Sidechain input signal. Sidechain is a crucial function for audio-controlled effects such as ducking (compression controlled by an audio source). Sidechain control functions are pre-defined for each supported plug-in: Sidechain signals on dynamics plug-ins like compressors control the signal gain, modulation effects have LFO control. The amount of the effect can be precisely controlled.

Free Routing

Redesigned Sample Editor
Thanks to the new Inspector-style section, the Sample Editor in Cubase Studio 4.1 is now more ergonomic and quicker to use. The Inspector consolidates all audio editing functions, especially those used for musical tempo operations including Musical Mode, AudioWarp and Hitpoints. Related functions are grouped together in the same place for easier access, including tools for finding out loop tempo, timing adjustment and altering the pitch of a sample.

Track Quick Controls

A new section has been added to the Track Inspector: Quick Controls. This set of eight user-definable realtime controllers gives ultra-fast access to any parameter available on the current track. Significantly speeding up workflow, Quick Controls are available for Audio, MIDI and Instrument Tracks, and can control any mixer parameter for audio and instrument tracks, insert plug-in parameters, VSTi parameters and MIDI controllers for MIDI and instrument tracks. Track Quick Control assignments are setup for each track and saved with both the project and in the Track Presets so they’re always available in any project once setup and saved. These new quick controls develop their full potential when used in combination with a remote controller. Setup is easy thanks to a MIDI learn function. Once assigned, remote control knobs or fader functions will follow the track selection.

location. 32bit OS users can import registration.reg into the
registry by double clicking the file. This is optional as you

registered!

*READ*:

Some people have said all Tuneup Utilities revert back to trial
mode, well with others yes they do sometimes but ours is cracked
so this doesn’t happen. If you do see that it ever does, its
because something other than TuneUp Utilities has just erased
registration from the registry. To fix this, just simply
enter in new registration data (or import the registration file).
This only to show up in the about box and isn’t needed as its
still fully registered, but its up to you if you want it to say
different or not.

Without warning, the venomous Serpent King Orochi descended from the heavens. Using his unworldly powers to shatter time and space, Orochi kidnapped the strongest, wisest and most courageous warriors from Ancient China and Feudal Japan in a scheme to test his might against the heroes of these ages.
In Warriors Orochi the characters from both the Dynasty Warriors® and Samurai Warriors® franchises must team-up to wage war against this new, yet powerful force. The game boasts an amazing roster of 79 playable characters, while four action-packed "crossover" storylines feature amazing team-ups and some long-awaited confrontations between characters from both series.

The games new "Team Battle System" and "Weapon Fusion" push Tactical Action to a whole new level. For the first time in KOEIs Tactical Action games, players can create their own three-person tag team. At any given time, one warrior will be engaged in battle, while the other two are recuperating; restoring their Life Meters and Musou Gauges. Every character is categorized according to offensive ability, and with new fighting techniques, its up to the player to find the most lethal combination of warriors. "Weapon Fusion" lets players combine the attributes from different weapons for more devastating results.

Hooray! A German masterpiece has been released by group PROCYON. This game is something you should have played at least once. In my opinion Anno persuades with a brilliant economic system, it’s a little weak in the aspect of how battles work though (e.g. in a sea fight the bigger fleet wins, no need to choose the type of ammo, or be aware of the wind direction), but that’s something you just have to overlook. Set sail to a new world!

The focus of the AddOn lies in the campaign; our Community survey revealed that the majority of ANNO players wanted a campaign in ANNO.The campaign relates, over 11 thrilling missions, the story of a hero; the role assumed by the player. As this hero, the player sets out to join an old friend in a very mysterious, but extremely attractive affair. During his journey, the player has numerous adventures and meets old friends and makes new ones.

The story features some unforeseen twists and turns, intrigues and power struggles. The classic ANNO elements of Discovery, Construction, Trade, Diplomacy and Military are mirrored in the individual missions, which are constantly setting the player new challenges. The 11 missions are packed with countless side-quests that present seasoned players with an even greater challenge!The four new characters essentially carry the story and have been developed as meticulously as the previous ANNO 1701 computer player profiles. Yet there isn’t a peace-loving individual behind every new face, and this makes the stories always exciting and full of surprises.

The Settlers: Rise Of An Empire - The Eastern Realm

Guys from group PROCYON releases a new expansion pack for famous Settlers serie. I still remember playing Settlers I many years ago and it was an excellent title so to say. I tried these new installments of Settlers too, but it’s nowhere as good as the original. Anyway, The Eastern Realm is a mission pack for The Settlers 6: Rise Of An Empire - this means you need the original game to install this new title. No need to crack this release as it comes unprotected.

The Settlers: Rise of an Empire – The Eastern Realm is the first add-on to The Settlers: Rise of an Empire. The Goddess of the Green Fire doesn’t like the old Eastern Empire which is now under your rule. So as any good enemy, she threatens the current state of peace and has to be eliminated. But yours is not the only state in the Eastern Realm that is threatened by the presence of the Goddess so the beautiful Saraya, only child of Praphat, Mogul of Hidun, allies herself with you. The is the only new hero the add-on adds to the game and her passive abilities lowers not only the building price of trading posts but also makes it cheaper to buy resources there. Her activate ability is to demand tribute from other factions.

Besides the new hero, the most obvious new addition is the climate. Much like in the winter scenarios in the original, not everything can be produced in a desert and the new weather pattern monsoon can make whole areas inaccessible due to floods. Honey, fish and corn are none existent there. To help the player to overcome these handicaps a bit, the add-on brings two new buildings to the game: the fountain and the trading post. While the fountain saves up water during the rain season which can then be used during the dry season, the trading post allows the player to engage in trading with the other factions. There are also a few new decorative objects available including a triumphal arch and a sun-dial.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is a first-person shooter from KAOS Studios, a development house whose core team is comprised of the creators of Desert Combat and the R&D team for Battlefield 2. The developer's pedigree is immediately evident upon playing Frontlines. The game is designed primarily as a multiplayer shooter with a strong emphasis on team play, with a healthy variety of vehicles and character roles to keep the action fresh.

Frontlines: Fuel of War features a modestly-sized single-player campaign that you could complete in a handful of hours. The single-player campaign can be seen as an extensive tutorial for the much longer-lasting multiplayer meat of the game, but that shouldn't be seen as dismissing its effectiveness. The campaign is quite entertaining, giving you a chance to utilize all the nifty tricks and high-tech weaponry that you'll need to master in order to excel in multiplayer, while also offering up some of the better vehicle-based missions we've played in a shooter.
